Bites: Dai Due
One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to lives on Austin’s East side. Dai Due can be found at 2406 Manor, and offers seating in their glamorously rustic dining room or on their dreamy patio covered in greenery. Some friends and I ate here back in 2019, and it was just as good then as it is now! What drew me to this restaurant was their mission: to use only local and organic foods.
“By using ingredients that are present in our region, we are able to serve foods that are fresher, buy food that is produced in a fair and equitable way, represent local culinary traditions, and support farmers and ranchers who are striving to improve the quality of our food.” - Dai Due
This place isn’t cheap, but every single bite is worth the price. We had a party of 6 and our total came to $503, which included drinks that aren’t listed below. There was not a single dish we ordered that we weren’t blown away by! I highly highly highly recommend making a reservation at Dai Due for your next date night or the next time your family is in town. And if the weather is nice, sit on the patio! Without further ado, here is what we ordered and what we loved:
